The new season starts on September 19. We will have a registration day on September 12 between
10am and 2pm. . There
have been some Association changes to events where South Australia will now be inline with National Standards. The following
changes will occur for this season onwards: Under 6-7's will now do 50m instead of 40m. Under 8's will
drop 40m alltogether. Under 9's will no longer do the 700m Walk but will add a 400m run. Under 10's will
no longer do 70m and Triple Jump will not be an Association event but Noarlunga will still offer it. Javelin is no longer
an Association event for Under 11's but Noarlunga will still offer it. All previous records for events that are no
longer available will still be published and obviously will stand forever (unless events change again). For new events, the
records may change quite often and will be published on this site and will be in our information booklet next season.
Season 08/09 saw the introduction of a new uniform in a new light weight material. There has been a
two season grace period where the old uniform was still acceptable. Season 2010/11 will have the new uniform as compulsory.
